1. INTRODUCTION
CDWAI conducted a Training on “Lukautim Graun” (Soil Conservation) to the members of SFPS. Sogomi Fresh Produce Supplies group members. The Training was conducted over three (3) Wednesdays. Attendance was poor but the subject was well received and understood by all those who attended. We are seeing great improvements in their gardens but a full a survey will help us understand the impact of these training in their practices in their gardens.

3. TRAINING OBJECTIVE
To help farmers understand the basic concepts of preserving garden soil and understand the importance of preserving surface soil from eroding and degradation from human activity.
To help farmers understand the relationships between the Plants (as food crops), the Soil Nutrients (as food for plants) and the soil itself (as the holing material).
Help Farmers understand the importance of Soil Improvement and Conservation
